I don’t believe it! Having told Brian Ashton what to say at halftime here <link> and again here <link> he goes and does it again.
After the weekend’s loss to Scotland The Daily Mail reports…
‘The last thing we said before leaving the changing room was not to give penalties away,’ said Ashton, trying hard to mask his exasperation. ‘And what’s the first thing we do when we get out there?’”
The answer is, concede three penalties in three minutes.
Of course they did. You just told them to!!! And worse than that it was the last thought you put in their heads as they went back on to the field. Unbelieveable, not even the smallest positive thought from the boss as you walk out to meet the opposition.
No wonder these three blokes on the sideline don’t look very happy.
