A collapsible, folding fixie. Innovation rules ok! Here’s what they say:
“We are hand-building bikes here in Missoula, Montana. All steel with S and S couplings. The frames break in half and fit into a bag. They can be checked on airplanes with no extra charge. One simple tool to put them back together. Ride to [...]

Woohoo. I’m very impressed by the look of this bike. Leg Grenade is a great name too. Here’s the story behind it:
“The fruit of a joint project between Robert Squire of Weaponshouse and Sylvester of Brakeless bike shop in Montreal, the “Leg Grenade” is one slick track bike. Deciding to build a bike that rode [...]

The Tour de’ France is a great event. We went and watched the time trial in London last year and then the peleton head out through The City. This article has more commonsense about the Tour and drug testing than any other I’ve read <link>.
The story is that there are three teams in the race that are [...]

It’s the British Grand Prix 2008. Third phase of the qualifying. It’s Lewis Hamilton’s last chance to get pole.  He’s just had a terrible lap. He ran off the track by pushing too hard. Instead of abandoning the lap he continues on. He wastes a lap of precious petrol and precious time. The pressure is on.
He’s driving [...]

I’ve been trying to embed this map for about 30 minutes only to discover that wordpress doesn’t allow iframes. Frustration aside, here’s a really great map of this year’s Tour.  Click on the map above and zoom right in for street views.
And there is a live tracker of some sort here <link> though it seems to [...]

I don’t often agree with Stephen Jones, rugby writer on the Sunday Times, but I have to admit his description of last week’s England performance as “catastrophically short of mediocrity” was completely accurate. This is especially as the All Blacks were by no means at full strength. With eight players now playing in the UK [...]

It’s been a while since I posted a Friday Fixie (and I know it is Saturday) but this one is a goodie. Cool bike ladies and gents. The photostream is here <link> and the maker is here http://www.moyercycles.com/

It was a close game played in atrocious conditions. But the Irish weren’t able to break their 103-year-old run of never having beaten the All Blacks. Given the All Blacks had only been together for a few days and were definitely rusty this was probably their best chance.
I wonder what Roy Keane thought? Here’s my [...]

Seven Super 14 titles. Magnificient! Now the man who should be the coach of the All Blacks heads across the Tasman to coach the Australians. Travesty.

Who cares about cricket and rugby (and football)? Kiwi Scott Dixon just won the Indy 500 and got to enjoy a celebratory bottle of milk. Well done Scott.
