Wow. Take a look at this cool information visualiser courtesy of NYT <link>. There are some stark contrasts – black v white; men v women; young v old; no college v post-grad. Maybe Clinton Obama is the perfect ticket? I don’t think it is but combinations make it look compelling.

Each year, farmers in the town of Inakadate in Aomori prefecture create works of crop art by growing a little purple and yellow-leafed kodaimai rice along with their local green-leafed tsugaru-roman variety. Thanks <link>.

Just five minutes after DYT delivered the wallpapers in the previous post. I found this collection of Wired’s reader self portraits <link>. They are all tres cool. This one is marginally my favourite.
